Royal couple William and Catherine delay honeymoon

After an amazing run up to their big day, Prince William and Kate Middleton finally tied the knot. But the Royal newlyweds have delayed their honeymoon and stayed in Britain for a weekend. Prince William will go back to work as a search-and-rescue pilot next week before taking his new wife on honeymoon abroad.




Prince William and Kate Middleton would spend the weekend in Britain following their wedding and have a honeymoon abroad in the future but it "will not be disclosed in advance", a St James's Palace spokesman said on Saturday.




The prince's office stressed that the couple "have asked that their privacy be respected during the coming weekend and during their honeymoon".




Newlyweds' destination remains secret, though the bookmakers bet on Jordan, Australia, Scotland and Kenya, as William is known to be deeply keen on Africa.
