The 22-year-old hard rock singer, James Durbin has been eliminated from "American Idol" on thursday night, May 12 leaving Lauren Alaina, Scotty McCreery and Haley Reinhart.
Believin wasn't enough for James Durbin. "I was really hoping to get there," Wiping away tears, Durbin said after the results were revealed. "I did so much stuff that's never been done on this show before," the rocker from California said.
He had hoped to get to the final three but was thankful for the experience.
Durbin sang "Don't Stop Believin" and "Love Potion No. 9," On Wednesday, May 11.
