Lindsay Lohan has claimed that her most recent 120 days prison sentence which she has received in her jewellery theft case was only handed down because she is famous.

A source said, "She didn't steal any necklace and will be found innocent. It's obvious this is only happening because she is famous. She is innocent and can't understand what is going on.
"We were all in shock when she was forced to return to jail just to make an example out of her. Especially when she is working so hard to live a healthy life. She is being treated differently from everyone else because she is famous.
After five hours upon posting $75,000 bail, Lindsay Lohan was released from prison.
