The eighth and final chapter of the most lucrative film franchise of all time, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part-2,” won the weekend box office battle with no sweat!.
'Deathly Hallows' made: $168.5 million! A new all-time record for the highest-grossing opening weekend. In addition, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2” also had the biggest opening day of all time, earning $92.1 million Friday alone.
The film has made $307 million overseas, bringing its total intake to $475.5 million! Hollywood money is indeed good money! It makes me want to draft a fanciful tale of spells and wizards and see how money I can haul in.
Congratulations to the movie's directors, actors, producers and crew on such an amazing feat! And the numbers are going to keep climbing as the saga comes to a bittersweet conclusion.
